Abstract
Purpose: The aim of this research was to provide a model of factors influencing the training of media elites in sports.
Method: The study was conducted as a qualitative research with a systematic exploratory approach .The statistical population of the research includes scholars of sports and media management with at least conducting two researches in the field of the research topic, managers of selected academic universities and media groups (with management experience of more than 5 years), some of the participants included sports journalists, reporters, and senior managers from various sports media outlets, each with over 10 years of experience. The approximate number of these individuals was 50.  The statistical sample was selected based on reaching theoretical saturation (19 people). The validity of the instrument was assessed and confirmed based on sample reliability, expert opinions, and agreement among evaluators. To analyze the findings, a multi-stage conceptual coding method was employed using a systemic analysis approach. Findings: Based on the extracted conceptual framework, 6 overarching themes, 12 organizing themes and 42 basic themes were obtained. The education of media elites in the country's sports sector is shaped by various factors, including managerial aspects (planning, supervision, organization, and recruitment), economic influences (national and sports economy), legal and policy frameworks (related to media and sports), infrastructure (technical facilities and educational centers), human resources (teachers, trainers, and elites), and broader educational factors

. Results: The development of media activities requires the training of human resources in this
field and the results of the present research can be used.
