نقش متقابل ریاضی و فرهنگ

چکیده

وجود آثار تاریخی، صنایع دستی به جا مانده از نیاکان، بررسی زندگی بزرگان و اندیشمندان عرصه پزشکی، نجوم، کشاورزی، ساختمان­سازی، فیزیک، ریاضیات و ... را می‌توان گواه بر توسعه دانش در زمان گذشته ایران دانست. دانشی که شواهد آن را می‌توان در هنر اصیل ایران زمین یعنی فرش نیز به وضوح مشاهده کرد. تار و پودی که هنرمندان شایسته ایرانی با اصول هنری و ادغام آن با ریاضیات جایگاه علمی ایرانیان را توسعه بخشیدند تا بار دیگر جایگاه ایرانیان را چه در هنر و چه در دانش ریاضی ارتقا بخشند. بنابراین بر آن شدیم تا فرهنگ باستانی خود که به خصوص در ریاضیات سرآمد عالم بود را به عرصه علم بیاوریم و خودنمایی آن را در ریاضیات به نمایش بگذاریم.
   بنابراین یکی از جلوه‌های ریاضیات، هنر و فرهنگ را انتخاب کردیم تا در لابه‌لای آن ریاضیات را برای دانش‌آموزان خود شیرین‌تر و دلچسب‌تر کنیم. این شیرینی می‌تواند اهداف کلی آموزش که همان ارتقا، بسط و گسترش ریاضیات است را توسعه بخشد و به دانش‌آموزان کمک کند تا ریاضیات را با نگاهی متفاوت‌تر از اینکه ریاضیات درس سخت و سنگینی است ببینند. نتایج پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که هر چند گذشتگان ما تحصیلات دانشگاهی و رسمی نداشتند اما کاربرد ریاضی در فعالیت‌های روزانه آنها جالب و در نوع خود بی‌نظیر است. بنابراین، آموزش و حتی معرفی این فعالیت‌ها، علاوه بر ایجاد علاقه و انگیزش در دانش‌آموزان، می‌تواند بر فرایند یاددهی و یادگیری آنها تأثیر به­‌سزایی داشته باشد.
